Breaking News!!!!

I am interrupting everyone’s blog’s today for some breaking news….squirrels have taken over my yard!!!! They are invading my trees, bushes and every square inch of my territory!!!!



If I could only climb this damn tree I know I could eradicate them all myself!!! Since that probably won’t be happening I’ve decided this is a job for Operation Whack-A-Squirrel

Commander Tank are you out there?!?!? I need you to call in your troops and get them over here!!!! I’ve tried to sneak up on them but I think the best approach would be a “Shock and Paw”. Don’t worry if we don’t have enough resources…mom has lots of treats, bones, biscuits and hot dogs here for the troops. I found a big jar of pennies, that should cover the cost of fuel. I will set up a make-shift headquarters in my back yard and start mapping out our plan of attack. I will let you decide if you want to draft the troops or let them volunteer on their own.The only thing left would be a post-war plan…can’t forget that!! We’ve got to accomplish this mission, if the neighborhood cats get to them before us I will never live it down!!!

Almost Wordless Wednesday

This is me and my duck staging a protest. I refuse to lay on the new rug….it stinks a bad funk. I like MY funky smell and I want my rug back!!!!

Mom’s Trip

Hello bloggie furiends, anyone still out there?!?! Have you been wondering where I have been for the past 2 WEEKS?!?!? Well, I can tell you where I haven’t been!! I haven’t been blogging or going on my daily walks, I haven’t been to any parks, no ball playing, no frisbee throwing and not nearly as many treats and belly rubs as I am used to!!! I haven’t been traveling the world on a jet plane….I have been here, at home bored and neglected. The only form of exercise I’ve had is my walk out to the lawn to do my “business”!! Oooooh and speaking of the lawn, I’m running out of space out there, Dad!!!! There are so many landmines it’s unsanitary!!!! So today I’ve decided I’m going to send mom on her own little trip to thank her for the past few weeks….a GUILT TRIP, that is!!!! This house has been turned upside down, furniture moved, ‘puter disappeared, new smelly stuff on the walls and worst of all my rug is gone and replaced with a new one. The rug where I would roll around on after I would come in from the rain, or after I ate and needed to wipe my mouth, the one that had all my favorite scents on it, gone without even consulting me first!!! And worst of all, they put gates up so I couldn’t supervise their work!!! Do you know what separation anxiety us dogs can get?!?! I’m probably going to pay dearly for this trip I’m sending mom on, but ‘ya know sometimes us dogs need to stand up for ourselves and demand some respect as well as a decent place to compare pet insurance plans.
