“Hot” Dogs

Guess what we did this weekend!!! Roasted some hot dogs…no not my sister silly!!! The edible kind, we roasted them over the fire!!!








….we only got to have ONE hotdog, what a rip off!!!!
This is what everyone else got to eat!!! Chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter and marshmallow in the middle!!!  So not fair!!!

We only got the crumbs that landed on the ground!!!

A Special Delivery….

We got a package in the mail today!!!! What could it be?????
 
It’s a skinneeez!!!!! From the nice people at Ethical Pet!!!!

Not only is it a skinneeez, but it’s a CHIPMUNK skinneeez,  24 inches long and the best part about it….NO STUFFING for mom to pick up!!!! The nice people for skinneeez sent us one and one for Belle to try it out!!! How nice of them!!!! They must have seen all the stuffies that I de-stuffed! BOL!!!!
 
“Stuffing free toy for long lasting play”, that’s what is says on the package, well we’ll just have to see about that!!!  BOL!!!

still going strong…mom should have know to put the camera on action shot. When it comes to playing with a skinneeez there are NO still shots!!!

Wait!!! Did you hear that??? This thing has 2 squeakers!!!! Now we’re talkin’!!!!

Here is Belle with her’s, it’s from the barnyard and is filled with catnip!!!!



She loved it so much that she licked it to death!!! It’s the perfect size for her, she loves to flip it up in the air with her paws, and the catnip is just bonus!!!
Just don’t tell Belle that our toy is sooo much bigger and better!!!!  BOL!!!
Do you want one too??? I’d share mine with you but….Just go surf the web, cuz they sell them everywhere, for only a few bones!!!  For instance, you can get them at my mom’s favorite place Amazon.com, they know her by her first name, all she does is press a button and the guy in the big brown truck brings them right to our door!!! Seriously!!!  They have raccoons, rabbits, skunks and even SQUIRRELS!!!! Give mom or dad your best puppy dog eyes and be super good and maybe just maybe that big brown truck will be at your house before you know it!!!!
p.s. 2 hours later they are still sharing playing with it, everything is in tact, even the squeakers!!! It’s a keeper!!!

Another Day at the Pool…

It started with a nice gentle plunge into the water by Maggie

and me taking a nice gentle step into the pool.

Maggie likes to splash and as you know I hate getting my head wet…

so I decided to be a poor sport get out ,when Maggie thought it was a good idea to take a bite out of my neck!!! See the abuse I go through, so glad mom had her camera for this one!

So I turned around and gave her my meanest tongue!!!

And she gave it right back to me with her “ I’ve got dad all to myself “ tongue.  Whatever, I am not jealous that dad spends most of his time in the pool with you, giving you massages, puppy talk and letting you rest on the boogie board!

I am perfectly happy doing the doggie paddle all by myself!!!

Sundays are Fundays!!!

Ya know why I love Sundays??? It’s the one day during the week when dad doesn’t have to work and he spends it with us!! And thanks to Maggie’s hip we got to swim as long as we wanted!!! And of course mom was there with the flashy thing to capture every moment…

Here I am getting blown away by Maggie racing Maggie to the flying squid…

slow and steady wins the race, right? Not when Maggie’s in the pool, I have to admit she IS a fast swimmer!

That’s right, I’m standing in the shallow end…

this is me barking at Maggie to get outta the water, I saw something that made my fur curl!!!! In case you didn’t know there have been MANY white shark “sightings” here in the northeast and I’m not taking any chances!!!!

Maggie decided she was going to play hero and go down under to investigate. Hey, I don’t like getting my head wet so it certainly wasn’t going to be me!!!

I’m giving Maggie a little pep talk and telling her one more dive under and she is OUT!!!

she found something, but what?!?! I knew I saw something!! Call the papers, get the news crews here, pull out the scale this is THE BIG ONE!!!!

so maybe I over reacted just a little….whatever! That princess looked MUCH LARGER under water, ok!
