Halo's Healthsome Vegetarian Dog Treats Review

Well, it seems like the summer is quickly coming to an end whether we like it or not. Fall is on it's way and that only means one thing in this house....pumpkin season!

We love anything and everything pumpkin flavored so when Mr. Chewy sent us Halo's Healthsome Peanut 'N Pumpkin dog treats to try out and review, we jumped at the chance!

Mom thinks these are great because they are grain-free, a great option for any vegetarian pups and they contain no added sugars or fillers.

Ingredients: Potato Flour, Whole Peanut Flour, Tapioca Flour, Pea Flour, Canola Oil, Pumpkin, Tomatoes, Apples, Sweet Potatoes, Cranberries, Carrots, Split Peas, Broccoli, Parsley, and Ascorbic Acid

As you can see I couldn't wait to give these a try for myself!!

First the sniff...

Yup, they smell just like pumpkin and p'butter!

 Then the look...

Looks like a perfect size for my chomps!

And finally, the taste...

Super crunchy and delicious, need I say more??!!

Just one of these days I wish mom would have a brain-fart and let me eat the whole damn bag.

A big thank you to Mr. Chewy and Halo for sending us these yummy treats, they really are delicious!!

Right now you can save 20% on these treats or any of the Halo products at Chewy.com while they last!!!

Virbac C.E.T Enzymatic Dog Chews Review

A few weeks back, we were asked to review Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic dog chews from the online pet retailer, Entirely Pets.

First a little about Entirely Pets directly from their online site.
"EntirelyPets® is the online pet store leader for pet medications, pet food and all your pet supply needs! We specialize in bringing you the best pet medicines and pet products online today. We strongly believe the pet supplies we carry will provide your pet(s) with a long and healthy life. No matter what pet you have, we carry a HUGE selection from pet food to accessories. We lead the internet in the number of products with 15,000 and more being added every day. Also, we provide FAST shipping with a majority of our orders shipping the same or next day!"

After visiting the website, we found they had a large extensive supply of every kind of dog and cat supplies that you could ever need at competitive prices. We will definitely be coming back to shop around!

We received a box in the mail from Entirely Pets with 2 bags of C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene dog chews, each containing 30 chews.

A little info directly from Virbac about these chews:

"C.E.T. product line is the #1 recommended dental brand by veterinary professionals. C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews for Dogs, featuring the exclusive Dual-Enzyme System, are made from select beefhide to combine a natural antiseptic plus an abrasive texture that works with the dog's chewing action to loosen tartar and provide clinically proven plaque control. Helps clean teeth and freshen breath even when brushing isn’t possible."

Ingredients: Beefhide, dextrose, poultry digest, hydrolysed vegetable protein, primary dried yeast, potasium sorbate, glucose oxidase, dried whey protein concetrate.

Maggie is an excessive chewer and her breath could always use some freshening up so she was our taste taster today!

As you can see she thoroughly enjoyed them!

We love these chews because they do a double whammy! They are great for those dogs who love to chew and tend to get bored and they also help keep their mouth clean. So if your dog tends to be bored AND have bad breath (gasp!) then I would highly recommend giving these chews a try!

Spreading the Word

Today we are working with Be Pawsitive in spreading the word about their wonderful company and message!

We know there are many companies out there right now that you can sign up with to receive monthly treats, toys and goodies in the mail but Be Pawsitive is a little different - they give back.

Here's how it works:

For each treat box you order, they provide a box of treats to an animal shelter or rescue organization to help dogs get ready for a new home.

"Our mission is to provide the highest quality all natural, USDA certified organic dog treats for your dog and at the same time give back to those dogs in need of a little extra love. While your dog is enjoying one of our treats, know that a shelter dog is too"

How cool is that?? These treats are used by shelter staff and volunteers to reward the dogs during their obedience training and helps them get ready for their new home.

We received our own box of treats in the mail...

The flavor is Power Berry, just the name makes our mouths water...

As usual mom needs to tell you why she likes these:

They smell amazing - Yes, a dog treat that really smells yummy enough to eat myself.

They use all natural natural ingredients, USDA Organic, wheat free and of course are made in the USA

Here is the ingredient list and analysis from the back of the package:

This time I let Maggie do the sniff and taste test. And of course they passed with flying colors.

As you can see they are a perfect size and you can actually see the ingredients right in the bone.

Go visit Be Pawsitive and see for yourself! Check out their short video - makes our hearts melt!

You can purchase just a monthly subscription or several months at a time, each month you will receive that flavor of the month.

Don't want to purchase one for your dog? (Oh, the horror!!)

You can give one as a gift!

Don't forget, "You buy one, they give one" so you can enter the shelter/organization's name after you enter your billing info, they have made it very simple!

Please help and spread the word about Be Pawsitive

Like their facebook page- Be Pawsitive

Follow them via twitter - @bepawsitive

While Maggie and I are enjoying our treats, we are so happy to know that there are shelter dogs, who are less fortunate than us, who are enjoying these treats as well.

Thank you Be Pawsitive!!!!

Left At Home

A few weeks ago we blogged about Dog Day at Fenway, this was the first time dogs were allowed in park!

Well this past weekend Kailey and Jordyn got to go with Parker's mom and dad (their aunt and uncle) to Fenway Park along with many other lucky dogs.

Parker, Maggie and I were left at home.....again.

The nerve!!!

Mom thought it would be too difficult getting us into the city and just wasn't sure how we would behave.

Really. Behave?!

How 'bout asking if it was okay for us to share our sisters with other dogs...??!!

Anyways, feel free to visit Parker's mom's food blog (it's filled with some amazing food scraps), Make Ahead Meals for Busy Moms to see the rest of the great pictures and dogs that spent the day at Fenway Park.
