Our Final Quest

In case you missed it, we've been on the lookout for Mr. Chippy all summer long.

Well, this week we went on our final quest in search for our little furry guy...

We sniffed every nook and cranny ...

Even stuck our heads in places where they should NEVER be...

....and much to our disappointment we came up empty handed. NOT ONE CHIPPY!!!

Before long mom say's he will be gathering his stash for a long winters stay.

I guess we will  wait for Spring to continue our quest.

Until then, we will have to get our Chippy fix online...

That's it!!!!  We need to buy some peanuts!!!!

Have you entered my giveaway for a bag of By Nature Grain Free dog food? 3 WINNERS!! ENDS 10/8

The Treat Jar

Being a self-proclaimed taste - tester, I get to taste lots of different treats and dog food and share them with you.

We all know that our tummies can get upset and our systems tend to go haywire when our food is switched due to tasting new things, allergies or other ailments.

Mom has a good system going for us that we'd like to share with all of you.

The secret is our "treat jar". We love our treat jar, it is music to our ears when mom opens it up.

Our most recent review was for grain-free dry dog food. When mom receives the food she will fill the treat jar and gradually feed it to us over a period of a few weeks to make sure we are handling it well.

And yes, on the rare occasion we get to sneak a few bites of our own...

Do you have a treat jar, if so what is your favorite treat inside???

By Nature Dog Food Review and Giveaway

Recently, we were asked to review By Nature's Grain Free Chicken and Potato flavor dry dog food.

"By Nature is a small, family-owned company that makes high-quality foods and treats for pets. They are rooted in the tradition of the family farm and live up to their 140-year heritage of providing diets of the highest quality, using only ingredients that deliver the best nutritional benefits to your pet."

So being the professional taste tester of the family I agreed, it's a tough job but someone's got to do it!

First I did my "look test",  because we all know our eyes are the windows to our tummies!

Then the "smell test",  because my nose is almost superior to my mouth.

And finally my favorite the "taste test",  because my taste buds don't lie!

Of course they all passed with flying colors!

As you can see they are a perfect size for me and for any size dog.

They tasted great, mom knows because I kept eating the pile of food before she could snap a picture.

Why mom approves of this dog food:

  • Grain - Free; No Corn, No Soy, No Wheat
  • Top quality product, made for all dog ages
  • Made without gluten, so it's gentle on my tummy

Our Mischievous Visitor

Word on the street has it that our little sister Jordyn has been spending some time with another dog.

That's right....she's been cheating on us and we have the evidence!

See for yourself...

They were spotted at the dog park...

And on a train...

Not only is this another dog, but it's another dog in our family that we have never met..... until recently.

Meet Roxy....

She came into our house like a little ball of white mischief, jumping all over me like a monkey on a cupcake...

I didn't know what to make of her...

....and I still don't, but I think I kinda like her!

Mom told me that we may have a sleepover some day with Roxy.

This was my reaction....

After serious consideration,  Maggie and I have decided we will share Jordyn with Roxy - anything to get her down off my back!!

As for a sleepover - we are undecided!!

Rock Climbing Connoisseur

Over the weekend we did some more hiking.

I discovered I have a new hobby, rock climbing.

I did it, I loved it and now I dream it.

Soon I will be a connoisseur! See for yourself!

I started out small with Dad...

Then  Kailey and I took off climbing up every big rock mom would let me we could find...

Since Maggie has a bad hip, she stayed down low with Dad and she was quite happy with that!!

Dad was teasing me with the frogs and fishies in the water...

It wouldn't be a true day of hiking without getting a little or a lot wet...

Leaving the forest tired, wet, and dirty but oh so happy...

It was a great day!!!
